Estamos de pl\u00e1cemes! Celebramos este mes de junio, el 25 para ser m\u00e1s exactos, los 5 a\u00f1os de la declaratoria que hiciera la Unesco de nuestro hermoso Paisaje Cafetero Colombiano como Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad, gracias a su excepcional belleza y todos los procesos culturales que han girado en torno a la caficultura en los 47 municipios cobijados por este beneficio que hacen parte de Quind\u00edo, Caldas, Risaralda y Norte del Valle.
\nCinco a\u00f1os en los que nuestro territorio ha estado en el foco tur\u00edstico mundial y que han servido adem\u00e1s para que buena parte de nuestra clase dirigente (gobierno, gremios, academia) y buena parte de la sociedad civil haya tomado consciencia de la gran responsabilidad que tenemos entre manos con ese mandato irrefutable de la misma Unesco al se\u00f1alar que es perentoria la preservaci\u00f3n de nuestro paisaje, pues de lo contrario nos ver\u00edamos abocados a perder dicha declaratoria y por ende una oportunidad sin igual para proyectar ante el mundo ese inmenso potencial tur\u00edstico que tenemos, m\u00e1xime ahora cuando estamos tan cerca del logro de la paz.
\nPresentamos en esta edici\u00f3n un resumen general de los principales logros que a juicio de la Direcci\u00f3n Ejecutiva del PCCC se han dado en este quinquenio y nos referimos tambi\u00e9n a las principales amenazas que tiene la zona por fen\u00f3menos como la miner\u00eda ilegal, el turismo desaforado y la falta de compromiso de algunas autoridades con el entorno.
\nHacemos igualmente una exaltaci\u00f3n con el denominado Top 10 de aquellos lugares de encanto que tienen la mayor afluencia de visitantes en la zona y un recorrido por zonas imperdibles y de gran valor ambiental de nuestra regi\u00f3n.
\nFelicitaciones a todos los que vivimos y compartimos este para\u00edso con el mundo. \u00bfEl mejor regalo? Preservarlo y promocionarlo con pasi\u00f3n y emoci\u00f3n, tal y como lo hemos hecho con nuestra publicaci\u00f3n Destino Caf\u00e9 que naci\u00f3 a los pocos d\u00edas del anuncio de la Unesco y se erige orgulloso de haberse convertido en el principal medio de promoci\u00f3n de nuestro PCCC.<\/p>\n

5 YEARS OF THE LANDSCAPE AS CULTURAL HERITAGE OF MANKIND<\/p>\n
We are delighted to celebrate this June, the 5 years of the declaration by UNESCO of our beautiful Colombian Coffee Landscape as Cultural Heritage of Mankind, thanks to its exceptional beauty and all the cultural processes linked to coffee growing on 47 municipalities (in the deparments of Caldas, Quind\u00edo, Risaralda and Valle del Cauca) included on the title.
\nFive years on which our territories have become an international focus for tourism and which have let our leading classes and civil society take conscience on the great responsibility we have in our hands as granted by UNESCO by signaling that the preservation of our landscape is urgent; otherwise we would lose such a benefit and hence the unrivaled chance to project our immense touristic potential, just as we are nearly reaching national peace.
\nIn this issue we present a general summary of the main achievements reached on these five years, according to the Landscape\u00b4s Executive Committee, and we also refer to the main threats for the zone such as illegal mining, disordered tourism and lack of commitment with the environment by certain authorities
\nWe also highlight the so called Top Ten Charming Places with the greatest tourist attendance in the zone and a tour at unmissable places with important environmental value in the region.
