Se trata del ciclomonta\u00f1ismo. Un deporte de aventura que realizado en medio de nuestra exuberancia paisaj\u00edstica no solo es un balsamo para el cuerpo sino tambi\u00e9n para la salud mental y espiritual de quienes lo practican. Recorrer en bicicleta aquellos caminos \u201cinvisibles\u201d para quienes tradidicionalmente solo transitan por las arterias principales que comunican cada uno de los municipios del PCCC, es brindarse la oportunidad de conocer aquellos recodos que literalmente fueron caminos de herradura, abiertos a punta de hacha y machete por los colonizadores que con sus recuas de mulas y yeguas dome\u00f1aron la monta\u00f1a. Es tambi\u00e9n conocer m\u00e1s a fondo las cicatrices imborrables que dej\u00f3 hace m\u00e1s de medio siglo, el paso del tren que con los a\u00f1os fue motor de desarrollo de nuestra caficultura. Es una opci\u00f3n sin igual para que a lo lomo de una bicicleta los amantes de este deporte pueden tener un mayor acercamiento con nuestras aves y las diferentes especies animales y vegetales, muchas de ellas end\u00e9micas, que habitan nuestros suelos. Que bueno es saber que la practica del ciclo monta\u00f1ismo, es amigable con el medio ambiente y m\u00e1s a\u00fan con la salud humana, y tiene cada vez m\u00e1s adeptos entre hombres y mujeres, que no se resisten a descubrir y revivir con sus pedaleos incesantes a recorrer lugares m\u00e1gicos e inalcanzables para el motor de un veh\u00edculo de cuatro ruedas. Tal y como lo testimoniamos en estas p\u00e1ginas, el ciclomonta\u00f1ismo lleg\u00f3 para quedarse y para demostrar que el lomo de nuestras cordilleras tapizadas de variados verdes y el mejor del caf\u00e9 del mundo, de nuestros nevados y los valles de la zona, constituyen los mejores escenarios para disfrutar de este incomensurable patrimonio natural que todos los d\u00edas tiene m\u00e1s adeptos.<\/p>\n

Arriving to its 70th issue, Destino Caf\u00e9 wants to share a special review of another of the emotional experiences offered by this beautiful Colombian Cultural Coffee Landscape. We are talking of Mountain Biking, an adventure sport which achieves the property of becoming a soothing balm when carried out at our landscape exuberance, helping as well with mental and spiritual health. Those who normally ride along the main roads which link the municipalities of the Coffee Landscape discover the feeling of completing the same routes riding a bike through several \u201cinvisible\u201d paths, giving themselves the chance to learn about the spaces used by old settlers which made way with their axes and machetes riding beasts and dominating mountains. Riders also are able to learn of the indelible scars left over half a century ago by the train which was the engine of our coffee culture. It is an unsurpassed chance to have a close encounter with birds, animals and plants, many of them endemic, which inhabit our lands. It is good to know that mountain biking is an environment-friendly activity which also helps with human health, reason for which men and women everywhere fall in love with it everyday and cannot resist the chance to discover magical and normally unreachable places.
