A los los ritos cat\u00f3licos se suman los templos sagrados y las celebraciones que en torno a ellos se llevan a cabo este mes de abril, para consolidar la esencia de todas sus creencias en torno a ese ser supremo y que tienen una connotaci\u00f3n especial en algunos municipios del Eje Cafetero Colombiano, como Salento, Filandia y Salamina que llevan a cabo representaciones en vivo de la vida, pasi\u00f3n y muerte de Jes\u00fas. No menos atractivas resultan las celebraciones que ofrecen ciudades como Pereira que tiene como ingrediente especial la Semana Infantil y la sobriedad y solemnidad de las procesiones que ofrece la Iglesia Catedral Nuestra Se\u00f1ora de la Pobreza, comparables a las de ciudades tan reconocidas en esta materia como Popay\u00e1n y Mompox.<\/p>\n

En Pereira la denominada \u00abSemana Mayor\u00bb para el mundo cat\u00f3lico, tiene una connotaci\u00f3n especial con la realizaci\u00f3n de la semana santa infantil que es coordinada por la Iglesia Catedral de Pereira y que tiene como escenario principal las calles c\u00e9ntricas de la ciudad.
\nLas procesiones que involucran a por lo menos 300 ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as se llevan a cabo en las tardes del lunes, martes y mi\u00e9rcoles santo y cautivan a los miles de feligreses que se agolpan a los lados de la v\u00eda porque el tama\u00f1o de las im\u00e1genes que lucen los peque\u00f1os cargueros ataviados con trajes propios para la ocasi\u00f3n, corresponden al tama\u00f1o de su estatura y de su peso.<\/p>\n

\nTo these Catholic rites we add sacred temples and the celebrations around them held in April to consolidate the essence of all the beliefs revolving around a supreme being and which have a special taste in certain municipalities such as Salento, Filandia and Salamina which carry out live representations of the life, Passion and Death of Jesus.
